When not sculpting tiny hammerhead sharks, sophia can be found either playing in the ocean with friends or singing Amy Winehouse at a random open mic somewhere in the streets of Honolulu. She currently work two jobs as a fine artist painting for Wyland Galleries Hawaii and running social media for the Waialua Surf Shop located in the Old Sugar Mill on the North Shore of Oahu. Soph grew up sandwiched between two crazy brothers and surrounded by a loud, musical and supportive family. Sophia is grateful for her parents and brothers who have been vital in the decision to create artwork in the hawaiian islands. Being raised on the rocky shores of Maine and the sandy beaches of Florida, the ocean has always been her inspiration when she is working and her place of reset when she's playing.
