With family connections to the Shell Gas Station franchises in Indiana, I was invited to create a 50 foot mural on the brand new Shell building in Connorsville. Pulling inspiration from vintage photos of the dainty streets of Connorsville, I made a design that hinted at a vintage past but was modernized with bold, simple shape and color. The goal was to bring color and life into the town's streetview while recognizing a bit of the town's history.
