My favorite building of all time in Honolulu is the famous pink Royal Hawaiian, right on the water in Waikiki. This piece was created on my first visit to the island one night after walking through the hotel, all lit up with matching pink lights. Spending time walking through the courtyard and gift shops and reading the walls of history with early longboard ing at canoes and the Dukes’s Festivals never gets old to me. I made this piece just because I had to, for the love of the Royal Hawaiian. Prints of this piece are available frequently on the Waialua Surf Shop’s Instagram.
