I had the joy of designing a poster advertisement for Lau Lau Solutions, a nonprofit North Shore Taro Farm and community restoration project. I met owner of Lau Lau Solutions, lifeguard, and surfer Joey Cadiz and some of his family when I came to volunteer and the farm and attend a lau lau cookout and so grateful to have experienced and been a part of the event. The Lau Lau Solutions Luau event included a variety of island dance performances by Tahiti Mana and local artists, as well as ohana-style imu dinner, a silent auction, and raffles. Joey does so much for the community and for the restoration of the land and I was happy to be a part of helping with the event.
